For the first time in the history of the Fifth Republic, the government has fallen on a vote of confidence, which is a real slap in the face for Bayrou and Macron’s camp. This result is indicative of a crisis that continues to drag on and deepen. This vote highlights the illegitimacy :

• of the government formed by Macron:
• of a group that only serves the interests of the richest by crushing the working classes
• of a policy that would have us work until the age of 64,
• of those who ask us again and again to tighten our belts.

Macron, Bayrou, and their policies are overwhelmingly rejected in the country. The mobilizations on September 10 and 18 must be the starting point for the counteroffensive of the working classes and youth.

But Bayrou’s fall is not enough. After Bayrou, it’s Macron’s turn to go! Only our mobilization will force the bosses and the governments that serve them to back down. Let’s get together, let’s organize, on the 10th, the 18th and beyond: let’s take back the streets! It’s up to us to change the rules of the game, it’s up to us to take back control of our lives! The threats of violent repression from the fallen government will not quell the anger. The mobilization will not stop, we must go after Macron and all the others, through street protests and strikes! Everywhere, let’s build general assemblies to decide on the next steps in the mobilization. It is the system that needs to be changed fundamentally: we are the ones who work, so we are the ones who decide. To do this, let’s get together, organize ourselves, and above all, mobilize on September 10 [Let’s block everything day -Tr], 18 [Trade unions strike -Tr] and beyond!
