Britain’s rule of law crisis, how bad is it?

6.00pm – 7.00pm

To participate in this unmissable events series you just need to join Another Europe.

An online webinar featuring:

  • Dr Sam Fowles is a barrister at Cornerstone Chambers. He worked on the ground-breaking ‘Miller 2’ case (2019) which successfully argued that the prorogation of parliament during the Brexit crisis was unlawful.
  • Daniella Lock is a Research Fellow at the Covid Review Observatory (Birmingham University) and a PhD student and Teaching Fellow at UCL Law School. Her research investigates how crises can often impact human rights negatively by normalising ’emergency’ powers.

The Q&A will be hosted by Another Europe’s Luke Cooper. There will also be an opportunity to feed in your own questions. For more information on the event check out Brexit Spotlight and join now to receive a link to the webinar.
