We’ll be showing 5 short films from Burmese filmmakers. These films document the struggles of the Myanmar people against the brutality of the military regime. Most films are about 10-15 minutes long, and we will show them on a loop throughout the day. We will also be raising money via limited edition art prints from exiled artists and have some free snacks available too!

We are raising funds for KWO and KNWO, two grassroots organisations run by ethnic minority women along the border of Burma and Thailand. These groups work with Karen and Karenni ethnic groups on Education for women, Gender Based Violence Prevention, Refugees Rehabilitation, Humanitarian Assistance, Healthcare and Emergency Relief Assistance to the Displaced population from the war and conflict.
