Protest to be held at Kazakhstan Embassy: 125 Pall Mall, St. James’s, London SW1Y 5EA

There is an uprising in Kazakhstan against the government. It started as a protest over fuel prices but has now escalated into a full-on confrontation with the regime over its corruption and violence.

Workers are on strike, units of the army and reportedly joining the protestors.

Now Russia and other countries have sent troops to subdue the demonstrations.

We are in solidarity with the people of Kazakhstan and their fight for democracy.
