‘Without Agenda’ – This will be an exploration of both gender and art with speaker Sacha Coward presenting images of how art has used images of gender in the past.

Sacha will explore the complexity around talking about gender in the past; How do you respectfully discuss people who’s lived experience does not fit the gender norms of today? How do you empower young queer people today whilst respecting the language and understandings of queer people from before?

Sacha is a queer historian and LGBTQ+ tour guide. He loves exploring human stories that fall through the cracks; For example developing the ‘Queerly Departed’ tours of Brompton Cemetery and he is currently writing a book on the queer history of mythology and folklore.
